Lola Scott

Emerging from the southern highlands of NSW, Lola Scott shook off her country shackles and made a name for herself amongst Sydney’s music scene. She is a multi-instrumentalist with a degree in guitar, a love for synth, and raw but ethereal vocals that will draw you in with the first word. And with debut single ‘Hush’ they spit you back out, not afraid to explore darker themes with her poignant lyricism, the single follows a toxic love story twisted with jealousy and fear.
A book scribbled with hundreds of song lyrics and ideas, Lola Scott has been writing since she heard her first Avril Lavigne masterpiece. After growing up listening to Joy Division, The Cure and Zeppelin, she made her way to her current influences which include Wolf Alice, Emma Louise and Lianne La Havas. Ensuring a truly unique blend and cementing Lola Scott’s intensely original sound.
